A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking a National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe into the Titagarh blast case was heard today in the Calcutta High Court. The petition was filed by advocate and BJP leader Shri Kaustav Bagchi. The matter came up before the division bench comprising Hon’ble Justice Soumen Sen and Hon’ble Justice Smita Das De. During the proceedings, the Hon’ble Judges directed the Central Government to duly consider the petitioner’s request for an investigation by the NIA.
